Thank you for stopping on my page. I hope you enjoy looking into my world. We have renovation posts from our old house but you will find a lot of flower and garden posts. I love my AGA cooker. This blog is mostly about the things that I love and that make me happy. I spend my days mostly in my garden or puttering in our 1912 home. There will be wardrobe posts from time to time. I have built a wardrobe of quality classic clothes and I love to thrift for clothes as well. I have a hard time with fast fashion. I love to share what I love and then find out what YOU love. x

If you want to place me in the world, I live in Victoria on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada. Our climate is not what you typically imagine a Canadian climate to be. We share more with the southern UK than we do with our colder Canadian neighbours. The climate makes gardening a 12 month affair and for that I am grateful. I’m creating a new garden and am in that frenzy of plant acquisitions. We have moved into the friendliest neighbourhood where we share plants and cuttings, which is so perfect. As I mentioned, I have an AGA again in this home. She’s a cream 4-oven beauty from 1990 and she makes our kitchen so cosy. So, gardens, my AGA, our old home and I can’t forget our Border Terrier , George and Snow Bengal, Gracie.
