I have been following Jamie Beck since sometime in 2017. When Covid set the world upside down, Jamie began her Isolation Creation work of still lifes.
As you may know, we moved homes in 2020. Our home, like our last home, is a period property circa 1912. The renovations required to make our new house our home were exciting.
Our home, while a modest craftsman style has a rather impressive entrance with high ceilings and wood panelling. As you entered the living room, you were faced with a bit of an eyesore.

Our bedroom is one of my favourite rooms in our home and that's saying a lot because I love all the rooms.
I can't believe it is coming up to our five year anniversary in this home. The home I call my "new" home. We lived in our previous home for 11 years. I can't believe 5 years in our "new home" has snuck up on us. Is life moving more quickly???
I love decorating my home for Christmas. My Mum used to take great pride and put a lot of effort into making our apartment in Montreal look amazing over Christmas and I have tried to carry on that tradition in my own home, starting with my first Christmas in my little apartment at the age of 21.
