Our cosy master bedroom

Our house is over 100 years old and we are fortunate to have all the angles and lines that go with older construction. Our bedroom is one of my favourite rooms in our home and that's saying a lot because I love all the rooms.

As with all rooms in the house, our master is bathed in light. The single pane leaded windows don't provide much protection against temperature but we wouldn't change them for the world. We don't get very hot summers or terribly cold winters here in Victoria so our special blinds have to do the trick. We had them put on remote controls and I would highly recommend that to anyone if you have challenging window situations. The blinds are also coated with a protective coating that keeps out cold and heat.
